Draft for the beta. This page describes what Sellcount really does today. It will be reviewed by a qualified person, and completed with the company details, before the public launch. If anything here is unclear, write to us.
Who we are
Sellcount is a product of Jitterstack Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom and based in Ilford, Greater London. Jitterstack Ltd builds and runs it, and is the controller of your personal data under the UK GDPR. You can reach us at sellcount-support@jitterstack.com.
What we hold about you
- Your account: your name, your email address, and your password (kept only as a protected hash by our sign-in provider, never in a readable form).
- Your security details: your two-factor setup, hashed recovery codes, the devices you are signed in on, and your sign-in history (when you signed in, how, a device summary and the country). We do not store your IP address or the raw browser string.
- Your stores and team: store names, currency, the people you invite and their roles.
- Your business figures: products, purchases, suppliers, stock, sales, returns, expenses and payouts that you enter or that we read from eBay.
- Your eBay connection: the access tokens eBay gives us, stored encrypted, and the orders, fees, refunds, payouts and listings we read with your read-only permission. We keep money figures, order ids, the items and the shipping country.
- Messages you send us: feedback and contact messages.
What we do not hold
We do not keep your buyers’ names, addresses or contact details. eBay’s raw answers contain them, so they stay on the server, out of the app, and are not shown or exported. We never see your eBay password, and we never store card numbers: payments are handled by our payment partner.
Why we use it
To provide Sellcount: to work out your profit and stock, keep your account secure, support you, and take payment. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising or tracking scripts on this site or in the app.
Who helps us run it
These providers process data for us. The list will be kept current on this page.
- Supabase: our database and sign-in.
- Vercel: hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: bot protection on sign-in forms.
- Our email provider: account and invitation emails.
- Our payment partner: payments, tax and invoices (when billing opens).
- eBay: the source of your store data, with your permission.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you cancel, we keep your data for a short period so you can come back, then delete it (the exact period is confirmed before launch). You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page, which removes your stores and figures. When eBay tells us a user has asked eBay to delete their data, we remove that user’s eBay data.
Your rights
You can download everything a store holds (Excel or PDF, from the Account page), correct your details, delete your account, and ask us anything about your data. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object, to restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Write to sellcount-support@jitterstack.com and we will answer.
Security
Two-factor sign in, encrypted tokens, row level security in the database and other measures are described on our Security page.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will tell account holders.
